My Background

I have always enjoyed creating art, in all forms, from coloring as a child (periwinkle was my favorite color crayon!), to making jewelry as a teen, to eventually leaving a corporate career to create art on hair as a colorist and hairstylist. 

I use many different mediums, including acrylics, watercolors and various texture mediums. 

I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I enjoy exploring the outdoors, camping and hiking with my husband in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by nature. Books and music also have strong influences on my work.
